Sonoma County Farm Bureau Endorses Todd Lands for Supervisor
February 10, 2026
Cloverdale, CA — The Sonoma County Farm Bureau has announced their endorsement of Todd Lands, in the District 4 race for Sonoma County Supervisor.
In response to the endorsement, Lands stated, “Protecting our local farmers and growers has been a key priority for me throughout my time in public service. Perhaps most importantly, I have worked for the past several years to protect Northern Sonoma County’s access to water resources. I am grateful that the Sonoma County Farm Bureau has acknowledged this record and joined my campaign for Supervisor. I look forward to working with the Farm Bureau, and their members, to advance our regional agriculture industry at the County level.”
Lands began his career in law enforcement, serving ten years as a Sonoma County Deputy Sheriff. Todd held a variety of assignments, including as a correctional officer, mental health officer, training officer, bailiff and SWAT team entry and sniper. After retiring from law enforcement, Todd went on to start a small business, Todd Lands Construction (TLC), which is based out of Cloverdale.
In 2012, Lands was elected to the Cloverdale Unified School District Board of Trustees. Lands took a district that was in dire financial straits and on the verge of being taken over by the state, turned things around, and renewed academic excellence, campus safety, and the long-term fiscal health of the school district.
In 2020, Lands was elected to the Cloverdale City Council, where he has been a strong voice for fiscal responsibility, public safety, and quality of life. Lands was chosen by his colleagues to serve as Mayor for four consecutive terms.
Lands is running for Sonoma County Supervisor District 4, representing the North County communities of northern Santa Rosa, northeast Fulton, Larkfield-Wikiup-Mark West, Windsor, Healdsburg, Geyserville and Cloverdale.
Lands is married to another lifelong Cloverdale resident, and together they are raising two daughters. He enjoys coaching youth sports, camping, and racing cars. To learn more about Lands and his campaign for Supervisor, please visit www.LandsForSupervisor.com.
