Latest Campaign Finance Reports Show Todd Lands Leading the Race for Supervisor District 4

Cloverdale, CA — Semi-annual campaign finance reports released over the weekend show Todd Lands with a commanding lead in the 2026 race to succeed James Gore in Sonoma County’s 4th Supervisorial District.
Lands ended the year with a $25K cash on hand advantage over his nearest opponent, Tom Schwedhelm. 90% of Lands’ contributions came from individuals and 87% of his contributions came from within Sonoma County. By Contrast, Schwedhelm raised 42% of his funds from corporations and political action committees.
In response to the release of these campaign finance reports, Lands stated, “I am so grateful for the overwhelming support of friends, neighbors, and community members from across Sonoma County. We are building a diverse, bi-partisan coalition of supporters who are united behind our vision for a safer, more affordable, sustainable future for Sonoma County.”
Lands began his career in law enforcement, serving ten years as a Sonoma County Deputy Sheriff. Todd held a variety of assignments, including as a correctional officer, mental health officer, training officer, bailiff and SWAT team entry and sniper. After retiring from law enforcement, Todd went on to start a small business, Todd Lands Construction (TLC), which is based out of Cloverdale.
In 2012, Lands was elected to the Cloverdale Unified School District Board of Trustees. Lands took a district that was in dire financial straits and on the verge of being taken over by the state, turned things around, and renewed academic excellence, campus safety, and the long-term fiscal health of the school district.
In 2020, Lands was elected to the Cloverdale City Council, where he has been a strong voice for fiscal responsibility, public safety, and quality of life. Lands has been chosen by his colleagues to serve as Mayor for four consecutive terms.
Lands is running for Sonoma County Supervisor District 4, representing the North County communities of northeast Fulton, the Larkfield-Wikiup area of Santa Rosa, the Town of Windsor, the City of Healdsburg, the community of Geyserville and the City of Cloverdale.
